While there's a small chance of a light spring shower, most days are bright, warm, and comfortable. The Adriatic Sea is starting to warm up too, with water temperatures around 64–68°F—refreshing for a quick dip! In short: light layers, sunglasses, and good vibes are all you need.

Do I need a rental car?

Uber and Lyft services are not available in Montenegro, however a car is not necessary when exploring Budva. The tiny walled city is a pedestrian zone with no vehicle access, and the waterfront promenade is best explored on foot. For day trips around the Bay of Kotor, a car is a recommended due to driving distances ranging from 20 minutes to 90 minutes to reach Sveti Stefan, Kotor, the Lustica Peninsula, Perast and some of the surrounding beaches. Parking is available on-site at the Dukley Hotels for $15 euros per day.
