This is
a fisherman's story.
We had
a couple staying with us, the husband of which was a fanatically keen
fisherman, even by the unusual standards of the sport.
This fanaticism
took an unusual form. For the entire period of their stay the husband
never slept in his bed at night, nor did he appear for breakfast in
the morning. Remember we are a B & B. On enquiring with his wife
we learned that he went fishing each night, staying until around midday
when his wife went to collect him. On learning this we asked what he
had for breakfast. Apparently all he had was a flask of tea and some
sandwiches.
When we
learnt this Darryl offered to supply bacon and egg sandwiches and his
wife took these to him immediately after having her breakfast. At mid
day the fisherman appeared and went straight to bed whilst his wife
went sightseeing an shopping. This went on for the entire period of
there stay.
Well that's
