We recently had a young lady stay in our single bedroom. We always warn people that the room is very small with only a bed and small table for coffee's and teas etc. She said the single was okay as she had stayed with us before and stayed in the room.
Much to our surprise the lady asked if it would be OK to bring her parrot with her (the parrot was only 10 weeks old). We said no problem expecting that the parrot would stay in the sitting room or conservatory. However, when she went to bed the parrot, in its large cage, went with her into the small room.
Apparently, the lady and the parrot slept well with the parrot making no noise whatsoever. Probably at ten weeks old the parrot did not know any songs or rude, or otherwise, parrot calls.
